Caring for them from a young age instilled in him patience, respect and a deep love for animals that continues to shape his grooming philosophy today. His grooming career began in 2003 through a corporate training program. After a year as a bather and another year as an apprentice, he graduated in 2004 and has been grooming professionally ever since. Over the years, he has continued his education through seminars and by learning from other groomers across the country. After the pet resort where Ben had worked for eleven years closed due to financial strain, he walked into Wonder Dog Canine Club-and found something unexpected. The vibe immediately reminded him of a trip he once took to Maui, where the energy was calm, the pace was slow, and people genuinely seemed happy. It felt like a sign-he knew this was where he could finally bring that Maui mindset to his grooming table. That means no assembly-line grooming, no chaos, no stress-just one-on-one care, start to finish, with every dog receiving his full attention. Due to the physical demands of the job, Ben now limits his services to dogs 100 pounds and under.
